Laser Studio (“Laser Studio,” “we,” or “us”) welcomes you to our website and mobile application (the “Sites”). These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Sites, so please read them carefully before using the Sites.

Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using the Sites, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, you should not use the Sites.

Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and any changes will be effective upon posting on the Sites. Your continued use of the Sites following any such changes constitutes your agreement to be bound by the modified Terms.

Use of the Sites You may use the Sites for your personal, non-commercial use only. You agree to use the Sites in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and not to violate the rights of others or interfere with the use and enjoyment of the Sites by others.

User Content You may submit content to the Sites, including comments, reviews, and feedback (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize Removery to use your User Content in the manner contemplated by the Sites and these Terms. You further grant Laser Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display your User Content in any form, format, or media, whether now known or hereafter developed, and to use your name and likeness in connection with such use if we choose to do so. You acknowledge that we may choose to provide attribution of your User Content at our discretion.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. You agree not to submit any User Content that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise offensive, or that violates any law or infringes any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights.

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor User Content and to remove any User Content that we determine in our sole discretion violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

Intellectual Property The Sites and all content and materials on the Sites, including without limitation, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio and video clips, software, and data compilations, are owned or licensed by Laser Studio and are protected by New Zealand and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, republish, display, or perform any of the content or materials on the Sites without our prior written permission.

Links to Third-Party Sites The Sites may contain links to third-party websites or services (“Third-Party Sites”) that are not owned or controlled by Laser Studio. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any Third-Party Sites. You acknowledge and agree that Laser Studio shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any content, goods, or services available on or through any Third-Party Sites.

Disclaimers THE SITES AND ALL CONTENT AND MATERIALS ON THE SITES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Laser Studio Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms

1.1 Agreement: By booking an appointment or purchasing a treatment package at Laser Studio, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

1.2 Right to Amend: Laser Studio reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on our website.

1.3 Eligibility: Our services are intended for individuals who are 18 years or older. Minors require parental or guardian consent.

2. Appointments and Cancellations

2.1 Booking: Appointments can be made online or through our clinic. All bookings are subject to availability.

2.2 Cancellation and Rescheduling: We require at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or change in appointment date/time. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a cancellation fee.

2.3 Cancellation Fee: If you cancel or change your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, or do not attend your appointment, we reserve the right to:

Retain your deposit (if a prepaid deposit is on file).
Retain one prepaid treatment (if applicable).
Charge 50% of the regular price of your treatment.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

3.1 No Refund for Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds for change of mind, finding a cheaper service elsewhere, or if you decide you no longer require the treatment.

3.2 Consumer Guarantees Act: Refunds and services will be provided within a reasonable time when required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, and other relevant laws.

3.3 Prepaid Treatment Packages:

Prepaid treatments are non refundable.
Prepaid treatments are available at discounted rates according to our pre-payment schedule.
All prepaid treatments must be used within 18 months from the date of purchase.
Prepaid treatments are non-transferable to other individuals or other treatment areas.
Refunds for whole packages will not be provided unless required by law.

3.4 Suspending Prepaid Treatment Packages:

At our discretion, prepaid treatment packages may be suspended due to unforeseen circumstances, such as certain medical conditions.
Prepaid treatment packages can be suspended for up to 12 months. Suspension is limited to one time per package.
Supporting documentation may be required to consider a suspension request.
The time remaining for the expiry of your prepaid treatments at the time of suspension will be reinstated once the package is reactivated.

4. Transfer Policy

4.1 Non-Transferable Treatments: Once booked (whether online or made at the clinic), treatments/services cannot be transferred to other Laser Studio locations or to other individuals, including pre-paid treatments.

4.2 Specific Treatment Areas: Prepaid treatments for specific treatment areas cannot be transferred to other treatment areas.

5. Client Responsibilities

5.1 Providing Information: To ensure the best service, clients must provide all requested information accurately in consent forms and inform us of any factors that may affect their treatments.

5.2 Realistic Expectations: Clients must have realistic expectations regarding the results of their treatments and work with their therapist or health professional to understand achievable outcomes.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 COVID-19 Protocols: Laser Studio adheres to all government-mandated health and safety protocols. Clients must comply with these measures during their visit.

6.2 Vaccination Policy: While Laser Studio does not mandate vaccinations, we comply with all Government Health Orders regarding COVID-19.

7. Privacy Policy

7.1 Data Collection: We collect and store personal information provided by clients to manage appointments and provide services.

7.2 Data Protection: All personal data is handled in compliance with relevant privacy laws. We do not share client information with third parties without consent.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Complaints: Any complaints or disputes should be addressed to our customer support team. We aim to resolve issues promptly and fairly.

8.2 Legal Proceedings: If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be escalated to formal legal proceedings in accordance with New Zealand law.

Promotion Availability

This promotion is available for purchase until 30th November 2024. After this date, the promotional discount will no longer be available.

Payment Requirement

To be eligible for this special offer, all packages must be paid in full by 30th November 2024. Any unpaid packages after this date will not qualify for the promotional discount and will revert to standard pricing.

Applicability

This offer applies to our laser tattoo and eyebrow tattoo removal packages, including packages with 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 sessions.

Gift Option

Packages purchased as part of this promotion can be used by the purchaser or gifted to someone else. Please specify if you are purchasing as a gift at the time of purchase.

Package Size and Adjustments

Clients are advised to consult with our technician to determine the correct package size for their needs before purchase.
Should an incorrect package size be purchased, the paid amount will be applied towards the correct size package. For example, if a medium tattoo removal package is purchased but the client requires a large package, the value of the medium package will be applied toward the price of the large package.
Additional costs may apply if an upgrade to a larger package is required.

Non-Transferable

Once the first treatment has been used, the package is non-transferable and must be used solely by the individual who received the initial treatment.

Exclusions

This promotion excludes all WINZ (Work and Income New Zealand) quotations. Any services or treatment packages purchased through WINZ assistance or quotations are not eligible for this promotional discount. Standard pricing applies to all WINZ-related services, ensuring compliance with the funding and assistance framework set forth by WINZ.

Validity Period

All packages purchased through this promotion are valid for 18 months from the date of the first treatment. Any remaining sessions that are not used within this 18-month period will be forfeited.

No Refunds and Final Sale Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued, even if the first treatment has not yet been used, as per our existing policies.
No changes of mind are permitted after purchase.

General Terms

All treatments and packages are subject to our standard terms and conditions and privacy policy.
This offer cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions, or offers.

Terms Changes

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions as necessary to comply with legal requirements or address unforeseen circumstances.

Laser Studio Gift Card Terms and Conditions

Validity Period

Gift cards are valid for 18 months from the date of the first completed session.
Any remaining balance after the validity period will expire and cannot be redeemed or refunded.

Value and Redemption

The gift card is valid for the amount purchased and can be applied towards any Laser Studio service.
If the service selected exceeds the purchased value (e.g., a larger tattoo removal requiring more sessions or higher costs), the gift card's value will be applied towards the total cost, and the recipient will need to pay the difference.

Non-Transferable

Gift cards are non-transferable and must be assigned to a specific person at the time of purchase.
Only the named individual on the gift card may redeem it.

Non-Refundable

Gift cards are non-refundable under any circumstances, including partial use or unused balances.
Refunds will not be provided if the recipient chooses not to use the gift card or does not redeem it before the expiry date.

Compliance with Terms and Conditions

All gift card purchases and redemptions are subject to Laser Studio's standard Terms and Conditions.
By purchasing or redeeming a gift card, the purchaser and recipient agree to these terms.

Purchaser Responsibilities

It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that the recipient is aware of these terms and that the gift card is applied appropriately.
Laser Studio is not liable for any misunderstanding regarding the size, type, or classification of tattoo removal services covered by the gift card.

No Cash Redemption

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, used to purchase additional gift cards, or applied to any promotional discounts.

Service Classification

Gift card value will be allocated based on Laser Studio’s classification of the tattoo or service size (e.g., small, medium, large).

Lost or Stolen Gift Cards

Laser Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Any replacement requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and additional fees may apply.

Other Terms

Gift cards do not include gratuities or tips.
Gift cards cannot be used for any services excluded from our policies, such as WINZ (Work and Income New Zealand) quotations.
